Jeff Kreitz starting welding and working with metals at 7 years old at home in his father’s shop. Artistic creativity runs in his family with his parents both being artists. They introduced him to painting and sculpting  at a young age while exposing him to a creative lifestyle. A talented mixed metal artists, Jeff opened his metal art studio in Crosslake, Minnesota, in 1991. There he developed a standing reputation as a prominent metal artist by creating metal sculptures for residential and commercial properties in the Brainerd Lakes Area. His creativity and expertise quickly expanded his work throughout Minnesota and the entire U.S. 

 

Kreitz started his business, Creative Steel Works Inc., in 1993. He frequently works with steel, stainless steel, bronze, copper, and aluminum to create amazing original sculptures and unique designs for functional residential and commercial use. His style excels at blending art with high quality craftsmanship.

 

His works include three-dimensional metal sculptures, metal furniture, sculptures, residential work, outdoor structures, wall and mantel murals, as well as corporate and community symbols.

Five Wings Arts Council Master Artist Award - 2015

Jeff was honored as the 2015 Gilded Feather Award as a Master Artist for his mastery in art as direct metal sculpture artist.
